5 rules that stop most scams
- Never share an OTP, UPI PIN or card CVV. No bank, police or company will ever ask for it.
- Real police and agencies never question or "arrest" anyone over a video call.
- Don't tap links or install apps (APK, AnyDesk, screen-share) sent by message.
- Hang up and call back on the official number printed on the website or your card.
- Pause when someone rushes you. Urgency and secrecy are the scammer's main tools.
